To design and fabricate a branded experience for the TV show Santiago of the Seas, we focused on creating an educational and interactive experience for children and parents. The ship deck was the perfect platform to promote the show and give kids the chance to experience what it feels like to be in charge of a ship. The interactive elements such as climbing aboard and driving the ship made kids feel like they were part of Santiago's crew.
We created a custom magic periscope that offered visitors the chance to see what the world was like under El Bravo. The interactive features were infused with Spanish words tying in nicely with the bi-lingual elements of the series. When kids turned the wheel they could hear the sounds. Parents loved the photo opportunities too! Along with the experience we designed custom pirate hats for all visitors, and coloring activities that kept kids engaged and left them with a lasting memory of the experience. The experience was designed and fabricated to capture the adventurous, engaging, and fun spirit of both the show and the Nickelodeon brand.
